Birmingham’s Mark E is set to release his next EP on the ever-reliable Futureboogie imprint; having cut his teeth chopping up obscure as well as classic disco, Mark E became renowned for his releases on top drawer labels like Sonar Kollectiv, Running Back, Golf Channel and Spectral Sound. For his debut release for Futureboogie he cooks up three slow-burning, atmospheric tracks that would work equally well in the club or as aural accompaniment to a late night journey. Title track ‘Activity’ is an infectious, deep-acid workout, while ‘Night Heart’ and ‘Shapes’ see Mark working his favourite Disco and Deep House templates respectively – all in all it’s another winner!
