In its constant search for new sounds and promising artists, Plasteline is proud to present its new series of split releases – fittingly named ELECT. Focusing on presenting selected upcoming producers and their works, the Elect series will compile and propose tracks from the wide spectrum of techno and house music. Always with an ear on the dance floor and with the clubbers’ needs in mind, ELECT will strive to offer high quality productions, hoping to help young artists to unfold their talent – and to provide diverse and interesting peeks into the future of club music.

Kicking off this series is ‘Funky Lies’ from Chrismatik. A beautiful track with heavy grooves is the highlight here, a smooth bass line with hypnotic beat all while meets delicate trickery effects. A very nice tech-house production makes this a dance floor oriented track. At last is G.Kay with ‘Wait for the Bell’. This track starts off with some lush pads and deep vibes on the foreground. The stabs are very busy but slowly more moving percussive elements are brought in along to create a smooth break. Solid tech-house productions stamped all over and you can’t ask more than that. An excellent release from Plasteline Recordings with both quality tracks, which are peak-time material and would fit perfectly as warm-up material for tech-house DJ’s as well.
